2nd chance for matric failures

For those matrics who are writing supplementary exams in mathematics and physical science help is at hand.

The Gauteng Department of Education is offering free lessons in these two subjects in February and March this year.

Learners will write mock two-hour examinations which will be reviewed by expert teachers.

The lessons will start on January 30 and will run over four weekends, between 9am and 2pm. Saturdays will be for maths classes and on Sundays the focus will be on science.

The GDE is also collaborating with the Sci-Bono Centre in Newtown which has set up a study facility.
